We formed as Ellie & Nikon back in 2014 and have been writing together ever since. In 2016, Gabrielle Aplin (no.1 selling artist) found us on YouTube through our song ‘Oh Sally’. We played a few gigs alongside her and other great artists like Hudson Taylor, Orla Gartland and Hannah Grace.

We went on to record our debut EP ‘Devil’s Game’ which has four tracks: Oh Sally, Jerry, I Don’t Need Your Rhythm and Devil’s Game. We recorded this at home, self-funded it all and released it independently 31.8.2018. We reached 37th in the best-selling pre-order chart on iTunes prior to release. Then, we peaked at number 7 in the iTunes singer-songwriter chart and 102 in the iTunes all-genres albums chart.

 

Our second EP 'Only look back if it drives you on'

(Release date: 24.4.2020) has another four tracks. 

In This Life, Throw Me In, Still Searching and Just a Little Slow.

Our third EP 'Feeling Like December'

(Release Date: 3rd December 2021) was a winter EP containing some Christmas songs! We dedicate this release to our Uncle Gary who sadly passed away too soon. We are really proud of these songs. We have been very grateful for the support of BBC Radio Bristol and BBC Upload. They often play our songs and we were proudly Band of the Week in April 2022.

Our fourth EP - One Big Road (Release date: 30th September 2022) peaked at number 2 in the iTunes singer-songwriter chart and number 46 in the all-genres. The track One Big Road earned us our debut play on BBC Introducing. We have to thank the team at BBC Radio Bristol and BBC Upload for being huge supporters in helping our music reach new ears. We have been overwhelmed by the response to these tracks.
