A huge thank you to everyone who bought, streamed and listened to this release. A special mention to Adam Crowther and the team at BBC Radio Bristol and BBC Upload for being huge supporters of us and our music.

Another personal note: We always like to involve our family in our releases somehow. You can hear the whole family singing on One Big Road during the end choruses. 1, 2, 3, 4s are done by Ellie's dad. The cover photo was taken by Ellie's mum - yes, she was led in the road to get the shot!

Our EP One Big Road has four songs.

Him Instead of Me - a song about missed opportunities of love. Missing your shot with someone and having to watch them live their life with another person.

The Shore - a stripped back and relaxed song about wanting to step out of your comfort zone to be able to get the most out of life.

Tired of Sleeping - a song about looking back on the mistakes you've made in a relationship but then noticing that you have to stop blaming yourself. It's the moment that you let go and realise it's better to let the other person miss you.

One Big Road - we wrote this song two weeks after our uncle Gary died from COVID too young. However, it's not a sad song. We recorded it on Gary's acoustic guitar. It's a song written from frustration that life can be so cruel and unfair but you have to take it slow and enjoy every second. It's about trusting that you'll end up where you need to be.
